Save-a-Lot is a hard discount supermarket chain headquartered in Earth City, Missouri, near St. Louis, United States. The subsidiary of SuperValu comprises more than 1,300 stores across 36 states in the United States with over $4 billion in annual sales. Save-A- Lot desired a "big idea" social media AOR to organize campaigns, design communication strategies, and possibly manage communities on a daily basis.

Let social media to do what it does best by letting customers speak for themselves and empower consumers to make and share their own informed purchasing decisions. This makes it possible to promote different departments within the store and reach various customer demographics. Additionally, it gives Save-A-Lot useful information for measuring and tracking customer preferences.
